Through the eyes of faith
He saw
Beyond the cruel cross
On which He endured the pain
On which He suffered and died,
He saw a glorious church
That became His beautiful bride.
Through the eyes of faith
He saw
Beyond an empty tomb
Where He rose up from the dead
Where He triumphed over sin,
He saw disciples made in His image
Obeying the Great Commission
'Till the end of the age.
Through the eyes of faith
I see
Beyond the cross I bear
Beyond all earthly tribulation
Beyond all earthly doom,
I see a glorious King
That is my handsome Bridegroom. :o)
Through the eyes of faith
I see
Beyond a persecuted people
Who carry the marks of His cross
Who bear His Name without shame,
I see a mighty army of the King
Winning all the nations for Him
Overcoming as they sing!
Hallelujah!!!
Amen!!!
