Though I fall
Yet will I rise again
In darkness though I sit
Yet the LORD will be my light;
Like sunshine after the rain
Like starlight during the night
I know the LORD is with me
And everything will be made right.
He is the Guardian of my heart,
The Lover of my soul,
My God and my King,
Jesus, You are my everything.
So guard my heart
O LORD, I pray,
Let me never go astray;
For as King David was a man after God's own heart,
So I long after Your heart, my Lord,
Ready to serve, ready to obey.
Guard my heart, Lord Jesus,
Take up Your rightful place
As King and Lord in my life,
My First Love till the end of days.
"Therefore I will look to the LORD;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me...
When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The LORD will be a light to me."
