darkness seemed bright
sin - my delight
lust - lovable
death - inevitable
yeah, i was a slave
a slave of sin and death
heading to my self-made grave
i was the devil's bonded slave
one day i did receive
a gift of love i couldn't conceive
a free gift from the Almighty One
a gift of His only begotten Son
light pierced through darkness
sin replaced by God's righteousness
holiness - lovable
eternal life - inevitable
yeah, i am a slave
a slave of righteousness
heading to my God-ordained destiny
i am YAHWEH's eternal property
rejoicing in my newfound slavery
enjoying authentic liberty
all because Jesus Christ has set me free
free to serve Him throughout eternity
unto God my Father be all power, honor and glory!

and having become slaves of God,
you have your fruit to holiness,
and the end, everlasting life."
