NEWSPAPER Issue of Wednesday, January 27, 1926
AGED MEN DIED RECENTLY

Thomas Ussery died last ?? at the home of his daughter Mrs. R.T. Young of Springfield. He was in his ??-third year and had been at the point of death for a week or more. He was a brother of Mr. ?? Ussery and a father of Mr. Tom C. Ussery, both of Roanoke. After funeral services conducted by Dr. Hines and attended by a large company of friends and relatives, the remains were brought to Roanoke and interred by the side of the wife who died many years ago.
