On March 28, 1870 Peter Usrey/Ussery married Nancy Adeline Bryan in Johnson Co., IL. They lived at one time in Tunnel Hill, IL.
Children:
1. Ida Leona Ussery b. 7 Apr 1833 Johnson Co. IL married 14 Mar 1897 in Rockwall Co. TX to Albert B. Housewright ca 1911 George W. Nash
2. Washington Parker Ussery b. 11 Jun 1885 in TX. married to Mattie Ethel Muse. Died 14 Apr 1869 Smithfield Tarrant Co TX buried in Smithfield Cem Tarrant Co., TX.
Pete and Nancy were not living together in 1900. Nancy was with her children in Collin Co. TX. Pete was married 10 Oct 1902 to 20 year old Nora L. Winnie Neighbors and had more children.
Nancy was living with her son Parker in Parker Co. TX in 1930 but they were in Smithfield in Tarrant Co. TX by the time she passed away 13 Jan 1933. She is buried in Smithfield Cemetery and Parker and his wife were buried next to her.

Peter was the son of William (b. abt. 1823) and Lucretia Ussery (b. abt 1827) who, according to the 1850 Johnson Co., IL census, were born in Tennessee. This same census listed William's wife as "Teneria", but this is an error. The 1870 Johnson Co., IL census lists the other children of William and Lucretia as:Tom age 16; John age 11; Logan age 6 and Lisa age 1. All of the children were born in Illinois. Nancy Adaline (Add) Bryan was bornSept. 6, 1853 to William Bryan (t).William was born Aug. 20, 1811 in South Carolina. He died May 4, 1874. On Jan. 26, 1837 in Davidson Co., TN he married Mary. Mary was born Aug. 18, 1818 in South Carolina. They made their home in McMinn Co. and Putnam Co., TN where William worked as a farmer and Blacksmith.
The 1850 census lists the spelling as Briant and the 1860 census lists the spelling as Bryant. Richard's civil war pension records are under the name Bryant. Bible records of Jane Bryan Stout lists the spelling as Bryan. They had the following children:
Silvester Ussery was born to Thomas Ussery, Jr. and Sarah Levirett. He died Feb. 14, 1870 in Anna, Illinois. He married Mary “Polly” Barnett on June 23, 1826 in Maury (Giles) Co, Tennessee. Silvester was listed in the following census: 1830, 1840 & 1850 Maury Co., TN; 1850 and 1860 Johnson Co. IL.

Silvester and Mary had the following children:
John T. Ussery was born 1844 Illinois to Silvester Ussery. On July 3, 1868 in Union Co., ILL, married his first wife, America Josephine Casper , whom he later divorced on Sep 11, 1886. America Josephine Ussery married again to Casper Yost on 26 December 1903 in Alexander Co., IL. During the Civil War he served in Company H, 60th ILL Infantry. (See pension record)John T. died Feb 19, 1907 Anna, ILL and is buried in the Anna Cemetery.

John T. Ussery married a second time to Lilly Thomas who was born about 1864 Illinois and died Sep 26, 1918 St. Louis, MO . They had the following children:
Sylvester Ussery was born around 1851 to Silvester Ussery. On Nov 12, 1866 in Johnson Co., IL he married Rebecca Cannady, daughter of Melmoth and Martha Canady. On April 1, 1897 Rebecca died intestate and probate papers filed in Union Co., IL and her son, Thomas G. Ussery applied for appointment as administrator.

Silvester Sr. is buried in the City of Anna, Illinois Cemetery per cemetery deed as follows: William Calvin for lot #22 and another deed to Charity and Ralph Ussery lot 522. Silvester Ussery is on lot 341 in original plat. The following are in the old soldiers plot of ground:
