Parker Pictures, Old and New

Starring our little Diaper Dan, Parker John Callahan!!!

Continuing with Page Two....

Parker is back at home, now, doing that "walking thing" with Mommy.  This kid is really doing well with his walking.  You may read it in the Callahan Chronicles, but he is taking steps by himself (!) and is climbing the steps by himself (!).  If you go to the Pictures of Parker (sorry, that isn't a word-link; you'll have to go to the Directory for that (which isn't a word-link, either.), you will see how well Parker can climb stairs.  Anyway, here is Parker with the support of Mom, making tracks across the floor.  Note the cute shoes - they aren't Reeboks or Nikes, but they fit his feet just as well.  Note also the jar of bugs on his body - last night we went outside and caught three bugs for his jar.  Sorry, none of them are lightning bugs (or fireflies, for those who don't know the colloquialism).

Parker likes ceiling fans.  Maybe it's the pattern on the paddles, maybe it's the air they produce, or maybe it's because they are above his head.  Whatever one's hypotheses may be, Parker simply likes ceiling fans.  And, now, he is staring at one with great interest.

Here is Parker, all pooped out!!!  How he can sleep this way is beyond comprehension.  Yet, I am glad he can sleep anyway he likes.  Sorry, the shot is out of focus.  That happens with Auto-focus cameras sometimes - they like to focus on what is directly in front of them than what you want to see.  This time the camera was more interested in the jar and salt on the left (or on the table).  Who knows, everything in the picture is out of focus.  Let's go on...

Here is Mr. Manners, the world famous baby who teaches children the proper ways to eat food.  Mr. Manners is in the process of showing the proper way to eat cottage cheese without a spoon or fork.  Note how Mr. Manners created a trail of food from his plate to his mouth and on his face, which is the proper way for a baby to enjoy his or her meals.  Unfortunately, we do not have a picture of Mr. Manners, where he illustrates the level of eating which produces sheer ecstasy and bliss for a baby: when the food is in the hair and all over the chair.  This level illustrated only will produce moderate pleasure and joy for a baby.
