Donald & Abigail O'Keefe
From a beginning of hard times, a squalid tenement building, and a one-room cabin without water or electricity, Donald Hugh O'Keefe found the Lord in Pittsburg when it was a little store-front home missions church. After he married Abigail Solis, they spent eight years preparing for the ministry. The O'Keefes pastored in Antioch, California, and held several leadership positions in the Western District of the United Pentecostal Church. In 1974 they were appointed as missionaries to Sierra Leone, West Africa. In Sierra Leone they had seen great victory and revival come out of adversity and above all the fulfillment of God's promise: "Go . . . and lo I am with you."
After 24 years on the missionary field, Donald Hugh O'Keefe has come full-circle, returning to pastor the Pittsburg Church, where his walk with God had first begun.
By the way, in addition to the duties of pastoring, Donald O'Keefe is presently the Foreign Missions Board District Director Western Zone.
