This is Jake at a B-rated AHSA
show called Octoberfest
in Auburn, Washington, September
19-20 1998.
He looks so fancy all braided
up!
I was unable to attend; he is
shown here ridden by Dija.
Jake and I won high point
(a nice cooler) at a winter show January 2nd, 1999.
What a great start to the New
Year!!! We got 3 firsts, 2 seconds, and one fourth. We even won the biggest
jumping class, Open Hunters 3'6''.
I was really happy with both Jake's
and my performance!

Jake and me with our friends Liz and Harvey at the July 24th show. |
We attended an away show at Cedar
Downs Equestrian Center
on January 29, 2000. Jake and
I came home with
two 1sts, two 2nds and a reserve
in our five classes!
Jake and I won a third High Point
at
Brookwood's show February 5, 2000...
I think we are making enemies!
This time the cooler is a pretty
red polarfleece sheet.

Jake and I attended this show
at the Tacoma Unit.
Jake stabled at the Unit for 5
days/4 nights, his longest show yet.
We did wonderfully, placing 3rd
in our Children's 15-17 division
and just missing Reserve Champion.
We came home with three 2nds (we
won money in our stake class!),
one 5th, two 6ths, one 7th, and
one 8th.
BISC Schooling
Show
June 3, 2000
On a gorgeous, warm day Jake and
I
went over to Bainbridge Island
for a little schooling show.
It was actually quite well attended,
and we ended up not
riding until the afternoon.
The jumping classes stayed very
low,
so Jake and I showed mainly in
Open 3'
instead of the little 2'6'' Children's
division.
We did great: one 1st, three 2nds,
one 3rd and one 7th (bad equitation round!),
placing in every class.
Thanks to Melody Jowell for several of the pictures on this page!
