Hi, my name is Disney, I was born on July 27,
1997. I've lived with my human pets since September of 1997. It didn't
take me long to show them who the boss is. I can tell by the way I am treated
that they really love me. And who wouldn't, I am really cute and love to
get into things that I shouldn't. Speaking of being cute, check out some
of my pictures.
Some of my favorite things to do include:
eating, sleeping, eating, playing, eating, licking my pets in the face,
and of course eating. I like to stay active, so my pets take me to play
at the park. I run and play until I wear my pets out. I now have a fenced in back yard. Anytime I want to play I just paw on the back door and out I go. I even talk my human pets into playing with me if the weather is nice. Even though I have gotten older, I still like to play "Indy Dog" as my pets like to call it. It's where I run around like a mad dog as fast as I can. I enjoy doing this in the back yard. Of course, it's the most fun when I just got a bath and I'm trying not to be dried off.
I enjoy my indoor activities as well. I love
to play with my ball and rope. Of course my pets have to play those things with me. My new favorite toy is my tricky treat ball. If you roll it just right, treats just fall right out! Isn't that the greatest? I also like chasing ice cubes around on
the kicthen floor. Hey, but I can always be talked into a nap. Below you
will find some of my adventures and happenings in my life.
The big move.
As I was saying earlier, my pets moved me into a bigger house with a fenced in yard. They thought the move would be hard on me since I'd only lived in the one house. I must admit, the thought was a little scary at first. But I showed them what a big girl I could be. I got to visit the new house each day on the week before the big move. I got to go for rides and we ate out alot. And you know what that means, begging for treats at the drive thru windows!!!! Humans are such pushovers for a cute puppy face. It doesn't get better than that. Anyway, I've decided that as long as they take me with them, I don't care where we live. Of course, if I had my choice, I'd move some place warm all year around and where my pets wouldn't have to leave me to go to work.
The case of the eaten potato.
No matter how much my pets try to keep me from
begging, I still do it. Especially when they are using the tv trays. Because
I can sit on the couch, I can not only smell the food but see it too. I
sometimes sit there and howl at them when they won't let me eat from their
plates. Well, this time I decided to take matters into my own paws. When
my mommy wasn't looking at me, I jumped over and took a bite of her baked
potato. Boy did I get in trouble for that one. She was mad at me for awhile,
but who could stay mad at me when I give them my innocent look.
The singing Beagle.
One of my many talents is singing. I love to
sing for my pets when they got the stereo on. I come running in the room,
jump up on the stage (aka the couch) and unleash my trademark howl. They
must think that I am the best singer in the world becuase they pet me on
the head and I usually get a treat latter on.
The Snow.
I had another exciting adventure when I got to play in my first big snow (17+ inches). I loved it!! My human pets couldn't keep me inside. I had to be carried in every time. I just hopped and hopped for hours. I even got to eat some without my mommy taking it out of my mouth. That is one thing she says I am bad about. I have to taste test everything I see. I hated to see all the snow melt, but now I get to dig in the mud. Check out my snow pictures!
More adventures to come
(what can I do next...)
