I first read this book during my Jr. year in high school (I used it as research for my term paper), and later again during my college years. It never ceases to amaze me! It's one thing to read HIS-tory about the U.S. enslavement period, but you experience a whole different level of enlightenment when you read about slavery from the someone who actually lived it! This book is a must read for everyone!! Highly Recommended |
