Why is Christianity Important?

What is so important about Christianity anyway? I mean, having to live life under certain rules and guidelines, having to go to church every time they meet, and giving money to church. Why? First off, God created us, so we owe it to Him. Of course, to many, this isn't a good enough reason. Well, Jesus Christ left Heaven and came to this earth to die painfully on a cross for each one of us. That should be good enough reason for anyone. But since some out there don't care or believe, there's one more important reason you can't overlook. If you don't obey God's Word, you will spend eternity in hell. Just how long is eternity? Well, the average American's lifespan is 76 yrs. What is 76 yrs compared to eternity? After 76 years, how much longer will you have? Click here for answer. Many don't believe in hell while others just don't seem to care, but it is, in reality, true. "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." (Romans 1:18-20)
