I do not have much on this line of Hutchens so far but will list what I have and will update periodically as I find more.
JOHN HUTCHENS b. 20 Dec 1816 Glenwood, Pottawattamie Co., IA; #1 wife's name, marriage date & date of death unknown; Children: Daniel b. 27 Feb 1850; David b. 17 Feb 1854. Wife #2 Eliza Ann Brower b. 1823, (marriage date unknown) Children: Joel, Omar & Johnny. John Hutchens d. 18 Sept 1887 in Glenwood, IA and Eliza d. 14 Feb 1917.
DANIEL HUTCHENS, b. 1850 Glenwood, IA; m. Acenith Jones b. 26 Nov 1850 in Indiana (marriage date unknown); Children: Lilly; Amos K. 1874; Elnora; Daniel d. 9 May 1883 Glenwood, IA; Acenith Jones Hutchens m. #2 ? MacDonald and both d. 23 Mar 1913 in a tornado.
AMOS K. HUTCHENS b. 27 May 1874 Glenwood, Pottawattamie Co., IA; m.1 Feb 1895 Eldora Daughtery in Glenwood, IA; Children: Edith Belle b. 1896; Joseph Alonzo; Rosa Mae. Eldora d. 9 Dec 1903;

This family was in Glenwood, Iowa as far back as 1816.
