Trestleboard Article January/February 2001

The New Millennium brings much change and we must change with it. The new officers of Harmon Lodge are: David Gay (WM), Harry Roundtree (SW), Rich Crobe (JW), Robert V. Pinkston (Sec), Johnny Harvey (Treas), Paul Carpenter (SE), Sam Domby (JD), Robert Cathey and Scott Robinson (Stewarts), Sonny Gay (Chaplain) and Kevin Enis (Tyler).

We had an excellent turn out for our election night meeting and we need to continue this kind of attendance. We’ve got a young, fast learning group in the chairs and the future years are very promising. I will strive to tech you all something new and interesting each and every meeting; therefore, please join us in our fellowship.

Our January meeting was equally productive. I was proud of the proficiency of all the officers. They had obviously worked hard to prepare – Congratulations to you all.

The Grand Master will visit us during our February meeting. During that meeting, we will discuss the proposal presented at our last meeting by Bro. Henry Chambers, Chairman of the special committee regarding the E. E. Morris College Assistance Fund. Basically the proposal recommended the Masters and Wardens of Harmony Lodge 22 shall be member so the Board of Directors, that the Board continue functioning as in the past, with reports to the Lodge regularly. Dissenting opinions should be presented to the special committee beginning at 7:00PM on Feb 8th.

To close, I pray that the four Winds of Heaven spread peace and harmony through the hearts of everyone.
