Baxter Reed is named R. Baxter in the 1880 census, and Reed B. in 1900, both those with his parents. He's got his own family in 1920 and is named Baxter R. He's named Baxter R. in his obituary.

Baxter served as pastor at East Chicago, Indianapolis, Clinton, Remington, Monon, and South Bend Indiana. He retired from the River Park church in South Bend about 1939.

Most of the birthdates for the children of Baxter and Eva come fro family data form his wife's side on the WWW. These dates are a little suspicious since they have three children born on Jan 4 (different years) and three on April 12. I only have separate confirmation for one of those Jan. 4 dates.
