According to the birthplaces of their children, Theresa and Joseph moved from Clinton county to Crawford county, Iowa sometime between Feb. 1888 and Sept 1890. Many others relatives through the Lawlor family made this same migration. Sometime in the late 1890s, they moved on to Nebraska since daughters Margarette and Kathleen/Katherine were born there.

Some records of their children except Katherine are from submissions of descendents to the LDS IGI. Theresa is also the grandmother of L.A. Burke who made the LDS submission which names Theresa's grandfather as Phenton Lawlor.

Theresa lived in Omaha, Nebraska when her sister Mary McGarry died in 1932.

Joseph was one of 13 children of Patrick Burke and Mary Pendergast. In June of 1852, Patrick Burke and Mary Pendergast were the first couple married in the new De Witt Church.

I don't know for sure if it is the same couple, but there are a Patrick (1832-1912) and Mary (1834-1916) Burke buried at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Denison, Iowa, along with a Tom Burke (1872-1942).
