Katherine and Clyde lived in Brighton, Colorado, then moved to Denver where Clyde died. Katherine later moved back to Brighton.

Clyde worked at different sugar mills keeping the machinery working and perhaps other things. He worked in sugar factories in Loveland, Brighton, and possibly Denver. Sugar beets were a big crop in Colorado.
