According to Cody family records, Loretta was the second wife of Henry Cody. Henry's first wife was Alice O'Brien (born about 1875, married about 1906) and they had one child named Eva (born about 1907). Alice was very ill and Loretta was her nurse/caregiver. After Alice died, Henry married Loretta.
