I believe that this David, the son of David, is the same person who married Cynthia Hubanks and is in the 1850 census, because he has the right name, age, and location. In 1870, I am pretty sure it is this David Morgan because he is listed adjacent to his brother Nathan. David in 1870 has a different wife, Nancy, and children than the David in 1850 did. But in 1860 when Cynthia is still living, they have children who are with David and Nancy in 1870, showing it is all the same family.
David's second wife, Nancy, may have been married previously to a Mr. Truelock. Her surname is Truelock in the marriage index and there are two Trulock children, ages 12 and 13, living with David and Nancy in the 1870 census. But they could also be some other relatives of Nancy.
There is also a Lafayette Morgan (age 27, carpenter, born Indiana) with his wife Mara one page before David and Nathan in the 1870 census. Lafayette is no known relation, it might just be a coincidence.
