Page was thought to have come to Iowa.

It seems likely that Page settled near his brother Thomas in Keokuk County. In Keokuk County, I found the census entries and marriage record for a Page Morgan who seems to fit pretty well. But I don't have any other real proof that the Page Morgan in Keokuk County is the same person as the Page Morgan, son of David. But he is presented here as if it is the same person.

I have a little information about Page or his descendents after the 1880 census (Pleasant Hill, Saline Co., Nebraska). An 1890 Farmer's directory lists Patrick, T., and Wm. Morgan in Pleasant Hill, Saline Co., and I'd guess that Patrick refers to Page. There are Saline Co., Nebraska marriages of Rebecca L. Morgan to James H. McClain between 1872--77 and Eva Morgan to Andrew McClain between 1879--83, and those are probably Page's daughters, but I just have those names from marriage indexes, so I am not sure. (Eva may be the person listed as an ``other'' relative with Page in the 1880 census.) In 1890, Wm. R. Morgan joins the United Brethren in Christ Church at Pleasant Hill. Page and his wife Elizabeth are in the 1895 census of Mirage Township, Rawlins County, Kansas and Page Morgan appears on a list of homesteaders there.
