Sally is named as Joel's daughter in the letter of her nephew TQ Matthews. Sally's father Joel presided at her wedding.

In TQ's letter, he says that Lewis and Sally had two children: Madison, whom TQ's daughter Ruth knew, and ``Clabaum, who died as a young man.'' However, the more generally accepted names of Daniel A. M. and William are from the Appleton Morgan book. Perhaps the M. in Daniel A. M. Morgan stands for Madison? William fits the description of dying as a young man.

Sally is with Lewis in the 1810 census (apparently, only the head of the household is named) and Lewis remarried in 1812, so we can guess that Sally died about 1811, give or take a year.
