Morley studied accounting at Valparaiso University. After he and Ann
married, he came back to around North English and farmed for a few
years. They also operated the Hotel in North English for several years
while their son Harold was growing up. They finally moved to Chicago where
he worked in the theaters as an operator of films for many years. He
became a valued employee and attained a good executive position.
They moved to a warmer climate because of his failing health and lived
with his son Hal for many years in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ann also kept house for Hal in Atlanta.
Mary Ferne (Morrison) Franklin thought Morley might have studied electrical
engineering at the Univ. of Iowa.
