The following was also written by Amy (Hanson) Stewart: In conclusion, I would like to say that I have the fondest memories of my grandmother. I wish though, that I had been old enough to remember my grandfather, and that both Herb and May could have lived to see all of new generation of Hanson descendants. I can attest to this fact though, and that is this: If everyone could be as gentle, kind, and compassionate as May Hanson was, this world would be a much better place.
