According to a history of his father's family, ``Lewis also graduated from Lawler high school and attended Columbia (now Loras) college at Dubuque for a year. He went to work for Sears Roebuck & Co. for 22 years in Chicago, Muskogee, Okla., Cleveland, Omaha, Columbus and Fargo, N.D. He then went with Ford Motor Co. in Detroit where he retired in 1968.'' Lewis was an advertising manager with Ford Farm and Implement Company and had retired. He lived in Detroit. He was a member of the Catholic faith, and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He had 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren at the time of his death. (I only have record of 7 grandchildren.)
