Mrs. Ruth Ann Richards, 88, of 1713 Reuter died Sunday morning in a local hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday in the Connally- Compton Downtown Chapel, Reverend B.C. Dugger officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mrs. Richards was a housewife and a member of the Lake Shore United Methodist Church. She had lived in Waco 40 years.
Survivors include three daughters , Mrs. J.K. (Ruby) Reeves, Mrs. Alton (Myrtle) Buice and Mrs. Jack (Kathryn) Battle all of Waco. Five sons, Pat Richards, C.D. Richards and Aubrey Richards all of Waco, Robert Richards of Grand Prairie and R.C. Richards of Houston. A sister Mrs. R.M. Conlee of San Antonio. 27 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reeves was born July 9, 1911 in Belton. She attended schools in Mooreville and Lorena. She and J.K. Reeves were married Feb. 22, 1929. Mrs. Reeves was a member of Robinson Drive United Methodist Church. She was proceeded in death by a son, J.K. Reeves Jr.
Survivors include her husband J.K. Reeves of Waco; two daughters, Florine Nicholson and Mrs. Bob (Mary) Owens, both of Woodway; a son, Bernice Reeves of Robinson; two sisters; two brothers, 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Mike Reeves, Brian Ashby, Donny Hagle, Wayne Blancett Jr., Greg Blancett and Mark Blancett.
The family will receive visitors from 7-8:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Wilkirson-Hatch

J.K. Reeves, 90, of Waco died Tuesday March 9, 1999, at a local nursing home. Services will be at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, March 11, at Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial at Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr Reeves was born June 1, 1908, in Spring Valley. He attended schools in Moody. He married Ruby Bell Richards on February 22, 1929. He was a member of Robinson Drive United Methodist Church.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Ruby on January 24, 1997 and a son J.K. Reeves Jr. Survivors include 2 daughters, Florine Nicholson of Woodway, and Mary Owens and husband Bob of Woodway, a son Bernie Reeves and wife Faye of Robinson; a sister Faye Tountas of Waco; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7-8:30 P.M. Wednesday at Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey.

Mr. Battle was born April 24, 1925 in Eddy, Texas. He graduated from Waco High School, served in the navy during WWII and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 8 years. He was a life time member of disabled Americab Veterans and a member of Ridin High Cowboy Church. In his younger years, Jack was ab accomplished artist, writer and dancer. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He is cherished and survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn Battle; daughters, Nancy Nolan and husband D.R., Diane Stokes and husband Larry, Anna David and her husband Larry, Evelyn Rickett and husband Bill and Dolly Norcross; son Jack R. Battle; a sister Katherine Hill, 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and his dog, Sugar.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Larry John David, Michael Nolan, Michael Hardin, Matthew Nolan, Jack R. Battle Jr., Ponch Battle, Garrett David abd Eddie Battle. "Daddy, Paw Paw you were loved."
