Rosa's Headstone and Obituary
Died. -Friedman- On Thursday March 20, 1884, at 8 o'clock P.M. in the John Roth place on the River Aux Vases, Mrs. Rosa Friedman at the age of 74 years and nine months.
The deceased was the mother of Stephen Friedman, and her demise was, not withstanding her advanced age, somewhat unexpected, as she appeared to be in good health the previous day, and though she had a fall on ice some weeks ago which was naturally painful for a lady of her age, there seemed to be no cause for alarm. However the accident may have hastened the process of nature.
May she rest in peace.
