Wiley Wright was born July 18, 1808 in Georgia. He married (1) Elizabeth 'Betsy' Wright October 18, 1832 in Morgan Co., Alabama, daughter of James Wright and Winnifred Thorn. She was born Abt. 1814 in Chester Co., South Carolina, and died Bef. 1849 in Lawrence Co., Alabama. He married (2) Mary Lemay November 22, 1849 in Lawrence Co., Alabama. She was born August 29, 1805 in Granville Co., North Carolina.
Notes for Wiley Wright: The first census that Wiley appears in is the 1840 census for Morgan County Alabama with one son and two daughters. On April 13, 1850 he was listed in Lawrence County Alabama in dwelling 344. He listed his occupation as a farmer. His first wife had passed away by this time and he was married to his second wife.. I have not been able to locate him after this.
He bought 79.88 acres in Lawrence County on April 2, 1857.
