YOU ASKED FOR IT... Return To The Home Page..... My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 1994 at the age of 34. She had finished treatments and returned to work in September of 1995. By August of 1996 she was diagnosed with a reoccurance of in her brain and in the lymph nodes around her lungs. She passed away suddenly, at our mothers home, on December 16th, 1996. Her husband Al was with her. While this web page is for her and about her, it is also about cancer. It is not meant to depress anyone. On the contrary, it is meant as a tribute to her, one which I hope will inspire you. My sister was someone that her family deeply loved. She was respected and genuinly liked by many people. While my sister was not afraid of death itself, she was afraid of what it would bring: she was afraid of being alone when she died, of being forgotten and of "missing out" on everything that was going to continue in this life, our lives, without her. I know that Donna will never be alone; she is with our Dad who also passed away at 37 from cancer and our Grandparents. Charlie Caltagirone I know Grandpa (Charlie Benigno) will take good care of her. She loved his neck massages. Grandpa Giving Donna a Neck Massage! OUCH! (Personally I always felt like Grandpa was trying to rip my head off of my shoulders!) Charlie Benigno Next Page..... Return To Top Of Page
