Nancy is an accomplished professional Bagpiper and has won Champion Supreme Honors with both Braemar Pipe Band and Niagara Regional Police Pipes and Drums.

Above is a picture of Niagara Regional Police Pipes & Drums from Ontario, Canada, playing in competition at the North American Championships in Maxville, Ontario, 1997. They went on to win Champion Supreme for 1997 grade 3 bands. They are currently preparing to go to Scotland in 1998 to compete in the World Championships. BEST OF LUCK! (Nancy is the third from the right with her back towards the camera!)

As this page progresses, we plan to have many links to various pipe bands in Ontario and the Midwestern U.S. and also links to Dunbar Pipes (who are currently making mine and nancy's new bagpipes) and The British Shop. So come back often and visit! There will also be music on this page. We are hoping to have a tune by the 78 Frasiers, if all goes well, and a link to their page.

Having lived in the Buffalo area most of our lifes, we feel fortunate to be in one of the premier Bagpiping areas in the world. We get to see and hear many of the top bands in the world every summer during the Champion Supreme Highland Games. Nancy has competed against some of them and belongs to one of them. As an observer and avid amateur video person, there is nothing more exciting than seeing and hearing 1000 or more pipers and drummers on the same field, at the same time, playing Amazing Grace together. It's really spectacular!

There will also eventually be a picture page of some of the Highland Games competition.
