Family
Our family is a blessing as well as a responsibility. Raising a family, like tending a garden, requires our time, effort, and attention. These days, it seems we have so little time. So many other things are competing for our attention and effort. All the more we have to make sure that we are not neglecting our families and are spending enough time together- growing in unity, and nurturing and loving one another. Here are some ideas you can use to make family life more meaningful, more unique, and simply more fun. There are ideas for everyday activities and rituals, for celebrating, for family traditions, and for parenting our children.
Family Activities include counting our blessings, family prayers, date nights, one- to- ones, family meetings, the family journal, scrapbook, bulletin board, programs, and newspapers; craft time, games, nature activities, and many more.
Celebrations include honoring the birthday , Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day celebrants, as well as seasonal celebrations.
Parenting ideas include unconditional love, encouragement and praise, communication, and others.
