Milestones

4/13/03--Rolled over from back to tummy.
4/19/03--Got first tooth! Bottom left.
4/22/03--Got second tooth!! Bottom right.
5/1/03--I can now sit all by myself for short periods of time! Sometimes just a few seconds, sometimes up to one minute!
5/5/03--I rolled over today from tummy to back for the very first time!!
5/17/03--I can now sit alone for extended periods of time and play with and reach for my toys.
6/5/03--My very favorite toy is an empty yougart container and the lid that goes with it!! I also like an empty container from some M&M's minis!
6/9/03--I'm getting really close to scooting! I wiggle, swiggle, turn and push to get to a toy that is out of reach.
6/11/03--I'm scooting! I can scoot backwards all the way across the room! Forwards is another story though!
6/17/03--I had my first solids today! Rice cereal. I liked it!
6/18/03--I said my first word! DA-DA. I like to repeat it over and over again!
6/18/03--I can now go easily from a crawling position into a sit!
6/25/03--I am on the go! I can crawl all over and I love to get into trouble!
7/1/03--I started saying MAMA now!
7/12/03--I pulled to a stand for the first time today!
8/31/03--I stand up everywhere now and hold on with just one hand. I also just started to climb stairs! I've made it up to the second one before mommy made me get down!
9/3/03--I learned how to clap my hands together. If someone says "yea" then I clap my hands.
9/30/03--I've learned alot this month! I say "yea" sometimes. I also make a sound like "sssss--ssss" whenever I see my sisters. Sometimes I wave to people and I point at things now too. I walk all over holding on to things. I can stand by myself for a few seconds, but I don't like to because it is boring! I got my third tooth at the beginning of the month. I have two more that are about to come in. They make me feel cranky!
10/1/03--I got my fourth tooth! My fifth is on it's way!
10/15/03--I have 5 teeth now!
10/19/03--I took my first steps today! 3 at once!
11/24/03--I am one today! I have 6 teeth. I like to walk all over. I talk all the time and am great at imitating sounds, especially animals! I also make car noises when I drive my car around!
12/15/03--I am so busy! I walk/run everywhere now! Crawling is out of the question! I got my 7th tooth now. I LOVE to talk! A gibber-gabber alot, but I also have a good vocabulary. Along with the basics I say "kitty" "siser" "uh-oh" "thank you" and I shake my head for "no".
2/5/04--I'm so big now! Mom has been really bad about updating this page! I'm into everything. I take apart everything in the playroom and can open every cupboard and drawer even if mom tries to tape it shut. I much prefer big sisters toys to my own, but I do play with my toys too. I like to take all the barbie clothes out of the drawer and make a pile out of them. Sometimes I take them to the dog as a present. Making messes is great fun. I like it when my sisters' play with me. I talk constantly, even if people don't always understand me. I'm a very finicky eater. I like mommy milk alot and french fries are good too. Usually, whatever is on someone elses plate looks good to me for at least a couple bites anyway, just don't bother with putting it on my high chair tray!
