I got interested in Roses when I went to Roseworld 94, held in Christchurch. I saw, smelt and fell in love with a bowl of Shocking Blue. My quest for my first rose began there.
Gardening sort of snuck up on me when we bought our first house. It was an old villa with a partly developed garden and a few awful trees sticking up out of the lawn. I couldn't stand looking at it and got stuck in. Before I knew it I was hooked.
I was born in love with horses, but it wasn't until I saw an ad in the paper advertising a share in a Stallion Syndicate that I had anything to do with Arabs. That stallion was Kandahar Ibn Kazra and it began a new chapter in my life. After 6 years I finally bought my own Arab, a grey gelding called Bentley.
I am a Chocoholic and I love to make extravagant desserts. Most include chocolate of course, but all are very easy to make. Learn the easiest way to make chocolate sauce!

I had always wanted a Birman ever since I could remember. They were such unusual looking cats and I liked the idea of a long haired cat that didnt require as much upkeep as other breeds. They certainly shed *everywhere* tho!
