MUSEUM NEWS

The Hurffville Fire Company #1 was established in 1927. The company's 1200 sq. ft. museum is dedicated to all of its present and past members. The museum will also help teach area children about fire safety and the history of fire fighting. The room will contain various types of fire fighting equipment, along with pictures, gear, and memorabilia from the companies past. The focal point in this room is our 1947 Mack Pumper, which was completely restored in 1994. This truck won best appearing in its class at our state convention in 1996. Look for upcoming pictures of our museum soon.
