Martin Henry Buchanan is reportedly the son of Robert Buchanan & Rachel Legate.  This researcher has not verified this info....so it maybe wrong.

The maiden name of Martin's wife Caroline is not known at this time.  Martin and Caroline married in 1831 in Tennessee.  They had property in the Wolf Creek area in Hickman County, that son, George Whitwell sold when he moved his family to Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.
