William
1841 -1910

The family history of this particular line has come to a standstill.  This page is in hopes that someone may recognize this family and be able to get me moving again.  If you recognize or can maybe give some info to help move this line , an e-mail would be greatly appreciated.

William, was born in Kentucky about 1841, married Mary C. Nail ( var. sp) between 1859-1869, somewhere.  Who were William's parents ?

William and Mary eventually settled in Paris, Lamar County, Texas...the exact year is  not known.  In 1886, his daughter, Sudie Ann, was born in the Caviness District of Lamar County and his daughter, Mary E., married  and in 1896, another daughter, Alice, married .  Other information I have been given is that the family may have been in Albany, Shackleford County, Texas in 1880, where a son, Ike, was reportedly born.

I have five children verified, but family lore says there are at least 2 more.  The children I have listed are as follows:

Sudie Ann b. 6/17/1886  m James Benton Phillips 11/29/1902  d. 8/14/1971, Sanger, Calif. buried at Sanger Cemetery, Sanger , Fresno, Calif.
