Before you install the new water inlet (also made of brass), wrap the threads a few times in plumbers tape. This will help seal the new inlet from water leaks - YUK!
Tighten with a pipe wrench. You will want to make sure that the inlet side points to the rear of the ski. You will see why in the next slide...
