Living Willow We work with a wide range of environmental groups to create living willow sculptures and structures. We undertake private commissions and also teach courses for gardeners and countryside workers. We have recently been featured in Gardening Which Magazine which has resulted in a link with Capel Manor Horticultural and Environmental Centre culminating in a very successful living willow workshop. 1999 projects included the restoration of the Living Willow Bridge, originally designed by Jamie McCullough at Hookstone Wood, Harrogate, Yorkshire. The Living Shade Project for Sefton Borough Council creating willow shelters and seating at Fazakerley and Ashworth Hospitals near Liverpool. Living Willow Structures for Northumbria Wildlife Trust, Newcastle - willow dome and 'living willow rubbish bins' a Living Willow Day at The Middlewood Trust Permaculture Centre, Lancashire. Live Wattle Hurdles for The British Trust For Conservation Volunteers in The Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. |
