Services for Lillie Beasley Whitson, 79, 836 E. 8th, are 4 p.m. Friday at Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Langston conducting the rites. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs Whitson died Wednesday at Tecumseh of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

She was born Feb. 18, 1905 at Bethesda, Ark, to Hiram E. and Maggie M. Coop McSpadden and came to Fitzhugh in 1932 from Lexington, MO. She attended Batesville, Ark. and Paden, Okla. schools.

She and Marvin Beasley were married June 3, 1923 in Paden. He died May 11, 1950 in Oklahoma City.

She married Gilliam Whitson August 4, 1978 in Ada and he preceded her in death August 11, 1983 in Ada.

Mrs. Whitson was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and was a member of Fidelity Bible Class and of the Elderberries Fellowship group there. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include four daughters, Lois Henderson, and Glynda Sanders, both of Ada, Lanell Bryan, Byng, and Audry Burnett, Shawnee; five sons. Wesley Beasley, OKC, Homer Beasley and Hoyle Beasley, both of Brentwood CA and Neal Beasley and Stanley Beasley, both of Stratford; three sisters, Oma Odom, Long Beach, CA, Ima McAnally, OKC and Verna Durham, Modesto, CA; two brothers, Chester McSpadden, Gracemont, OK and Emmett McSpadden, Shawnee; 37 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Whitson's grandsons will serve as bearers. Chriswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
