February 28, 1915 - March 8, 1992 Funeral services for Remiss R. Rehfeldt, 77, of Kissee Mills, will be held at 2 p.m. today (March 11) at Snapp's Funeral Home, Branson, MO. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson, under direction of Snapps. He died March 8 at his home following a long illness. (Sunday evening) A former resident of Kansas City, Mr. Rehfeldt had lived in Tany County since 1959. Mr Rehfeldt was a retired minister. He had received (his degree and) an honorary doctorate degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL. He was a member of the International Conservative Holiness Association (ICHA) and at the time of his death was a consultant for ICHA. He was past executive secretary for World Missions in the Church of the Nazarene; past district superintendent for the Iowa District and the Indianapolis, Indiana District; general presiding officer for the Church of the Bible Covenant and was a World Missionary travelor. Survivors include his wife, Frances of the home; one son, Roger Rehfeldt of Phuthaditjhaba, Qwaqwa, South Africa; two daughters, Phyllis Cheatwood of Kissee Mills and Carole McAnally of Bethany, Oklahoma; one sister, Eula Grinnell of Kissee Mills; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
