What really impressed us, was the fact that the builders do the sidewalk at the sametime as the driveway. Even though the sidewalk is city property. This is partly one of the reasons why a new neighbourhood looks clean and tidy after a house is finished. Really neat.
Builders are also required to plant trees, and as part of our package we will get a landscaped frontgarden with 2 trees and shrubs. The back and side of the house is our responsibility though.
