When they started with the foundation they first boxed an area on the lot that we selected. To our suprise they do NOT dig foundations the way we know it to be done in South Africa. Maybe its different in different states etc. we haven't checked that up.
Now we also understand why it is so easy to literally MOVE a house if the need arise.... ;)
