Darius Broughton is the son of Nathan Broughton Junior and Ann Tomb. He was born in Delmar Township, Tioga County Pennsylvania around 1861. On August 19, 1883, Darius married Emma L. Evans, a native of Tioga County, Pennsylvania who was born around 1863.

Darius Broughton passed away around 1941 in Wellsboro Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. His wife, Emma, had died several decades earlier around the year 1922 in Morris Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

Here's a bit more information on a couple of Darius' daughters: Leda Broughton Wheeler passed away on Feb. 16, 1972 in Wellsboro, Tioga Co., PA. Darius' daughter Eva Broughton Mathews died around the year 1923 in Morris Township, Tioga County, PA. Her husband who had been born around 1893 in White Pine, Cogan House Township, Lycoming County, PA passed away around 1966 in Morris Twp., Tioga Co., PA.
