Private - Royal Air Force
He died on Saturday, 11th October 1919. He was the husband of
A. Broughton, of 9, Jakemans Walk, Balsall Heath, Birmingham.
His memorial is on Panel Number C.1 "C"486 in the Bermingham
(Brandwood End) Cemetery in Warwickshire, United Kingdom.

Private - 6th Bn., The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regt.)
He died on Friday, 9th August 1918. His memorial is on Panel
Number A.26 in Morlancourt British Cemetery No.2 located on the
northwest side of Morlancourt village south of Albert, Somme,
France. There are now over 50, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated
in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified.
- GEORGE EDWARD BROUGHTON - Driver - 3rd Div. Ammunition Col., Australian
Field Artillery
He who died on Friday, 2nd February 1917 at the age of 41. Born
at Coleraine, his parents were George Alfred and Emily Oakleigh
Broughton. His wife was Mary Grace Broughton, of Ballaarook,
Coleraine, Victoria. His memorial is on Panel Number 3.I.2 at
Bulford Church Cemetery in Wiltshire, United Kingdom.

Captain - 17th (Loyal Regt) Indian Infantry
He died on Wednesday, 11th July 1917. His memorial is on Panel
II.C.4 in the Iringa Cemetery, Tanzania. Iringa, the provincial
capital, is set on the top of a mountain. The cemetery is at
the bottom of the hill off the road for Dodoma.
- GEORGE HENRY BROUGHTON - Private - 3rd Bn., Machine Gun Corps (Inf)
He died on Tuesday, 8th October 1918 at the age of 21. His father
was John Broughton, of Eastmoor, Stoke Ferry, Norfolk. His memorial
is on Panel II.C.2 in the Ribecourt British Cemetery located
on the southside of the village of Ribecourt, Nord, France. There
are now nearly 300, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this
site. Of these, almost 20 are unidentified and the graves of
81 soldiers from the United Kingdom were destroyed by shell fire
and are now represented by special memorials.
- GEORGE PICKERING BROUGHTON - Gunner - "C" Bty. 159th Bde., Royal
Field Artillery
He died on Monday, 23rd April 1917 at the age of 20. He was the
only son of William and Mary Broughton, of 3, Tureen St., Glasgow.
His memorial is on Panel A.27 in Nesle Communal Cemetery located
on the eastern side of the village of Nesle, 20 kilometers south
of Peronne, Somme, France. There are now over 100, 1914-18 war
casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number
are unidentified.
