Broughtons in World War II B 2 Names BENJAMIN HARRY BROUGHTON - Lance Sergeant, Royal Engineers He died on Tuesday, 11th March 1941at the age of 28. He was the son of Benjamin H. Broughton and Margaret Broughton, of Whitby. He's buried in plot #309 at Whitby Cemetery in Yorkshire, UK. BENJAMIN JAMES BROUGHTON - Major, Somerset Light Infantry attd. 1st Bn., Hampshire Regiment He died on Sunday, 13th August 1944. He was 33. His parents were Benjamin Robert and Lilian Amelia Broughton. His wife was Frances Graham Broughton. His memorial is located on Panel Number: VI. E. 8. at Tilly-sur-Seulles War Cemetery, Calvados, France. There are now nearly 1000, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, almost 50 are unidentified.
