- DENYS HARDWICKE BROUGHTON MC
- Lieutenant, King's African Rifles
General List. He died on Tuesday, 19th December 1944 at age 28.
His parents were Arthur Hardwicke Broughton and Constance Broughton,
of Faversham, Kent. His memorial is on Panel Number: 3. J. 20.
at the Imphal War Cemetery in the Manipur capital in India.
- DERRICK GRAHAM BROUGHTON
- Aircraftman 1st Class, Royal Air Force Volunteer
Reserve. He died on Tuesday, 10th October 1944. He was 22 years-old.
He was the son of Arthur and Edith Annie Broughton, of Erdington,
Birmingham. His memorial is in Column 439 of the Singapore Memorial
in the Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore. The memorial bears the
names of over 24,000 soldiers and airmen of the British Commonwealth
and Empire who have no known grave and who died during operations
over the whole of southern and eastern Asia and the surrounding
seas and oceans.

He died on Sunday, 31st October 1943. He was 22 and the son of
William and Mary Alice Broughton, of Ogden, Halifax, Yorkshire.
His memorial is on Panel Number: 5. O. 5. at Heliopolis War Cemetery
in Helipolis, a major suburb of Cairo, Egypt. There are now over
1,800 war casualties commemorated here, as well as a small number
of non-war burials. The Heliopolis (Aden) Memorial commemorates
over 600 war casualties and the Heliopolis (Port Tewfik) Memorial
nearly 4,000 war casualties.

He died on Thursday, 13th May 1943 at the age of 21. He was the
son of Frank William and Elizabeth Ann Broughton, of Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada. His memorial is on Panel Number: 16.
D. 9. in Jonkerbos War Cemetery, located 4 km south west of Nijmegen,
Netherlands.
