  • MABEL CHRISTINE BROUGHTON - A civilian who died on
    Saturday, 25th March 1944 at age 50. She was from Primrose Cottage, Lowfield Heath, Crawley Sussex. She was the daughter of the late William Kelk Broughton, and Christiana Seaward Broughton, of Northwood, Middlesex. She was injured at Primrose Cottage on March 25th and died the same day at Redhill County Hospital. She's listed in Municipal Borough of Richmond section of the Civilian War Dead Register.
  • MAURICE EDWARD BROUGHTON - Driver, Royal Corps of Signals, Malaya Command Signals. He died on Tuesday, 25th May 1943. He was 33, the son of William Charles Edward Broughton and of Laura Minnie Broughton (nee Crow), of Lincoln, and the husband of Constance Broughton, of Lincoln. His memorial is Panel Number: 8. J. 56. at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery in Kanchanaburi, 129 kilometres west-north-west of Bangkok, Thailand.
