Quality Assurance

I worked at BMC Software as a quality assurance trainee for 1 and half year. Originally I got in because they offered an internship. In the beginning, from the job description I thought I was applying for a hard physical work, because it says they "need a person with good health condition and must be able to carry certain weights." So, for some reason I got to have a interview with 7 people in a room. They were asking me all these computer related questions and it just happens that I know all the answers. All though I was kind of wandering why they do that to me, since I was hoping to carry some stuff around. It turns out I got a better job than I hoped for. I was still in school at that time, which means I can only work half day or three days a week and taking one or two classes. But everyday is a challenge and everyday is an exciting day. I got to learning a lot of stuff form them. From installing different operating systems to changing passwords for an account on IBM's AIX machines. The software testing part was actually easy until they gave me the stuff with four Asian languages. I should asked them to move me to full-time before 9-11. But who would've thought that the economy is going down the drain the next day. Oh well, time to move on.
