Sunday, May 17, 1998 - Still Hanging

I feel like such a slacker. It's been quite a few weeks since I've updated my diary. But really I'm doing just what I should be. It's a bit of a waiting game at this point. Waiting to see about film festivals. Waiting for the negative cutting. Waiting to replenish the funds. Ideally I hear positively from a festival and have the print completed just in time to send it off and pay the lab. But we don't live in a perfect world.

Funny. It's been a whole year since the start of production. What a year! Don't know if I'd have the wherewithal to do it again right now. But I don't have to. I have the edited video version in my hand. Soon I'll have the print.

I've been getting positive reviews from viewers seeing the film for the first time. I've also had a chance to forget about it and can now sit down and view it with a fresh palette. I'm very happy. All of the could of would of should of's have faded away.

Time to take a breather then do it all again, this time armed with a little extra knowledge...
