Sunday, June 07, 1998 - What in the World

I can't believe it's been a whole year since the beginning of production. Makes me want to complete the process. There are still a handful of film festivals to apply to, but I think I'm going to shift gears here and start contacting distributor's directly.

Just saw a film that gave me a lot more confidence as a director. If that thing can get distributed anything can. I guess different people look for different things in films. As I see it, though, there's no substitute for beliievable characters and a unique story. You have to have something to say!

At long last I am having a screening for principal cast and crew this Friday. It will be good to see them again. Most of them haven't seen the finished work or met the post-production crew.
