Saturday, June 27, 1998 - "So, where else are we going?"

Woke up this morning finally rested. It's crazy to let life take so much out of you. Just realized today that there's really nothing for me to wait for anymore. I need to push ahead and actively look for a distributor.

The film did very well over in Germany. BIC sent over the information on the festivals in Berlin and Cottbus. I must say I was most impressed with their catalogue and literature. From Out Of The Blue won an award: "Best Film/Video on Matters Relating to the 'Black Experience'", which is somewhat entertaining if you think of it in terms of Mary experiencing a black teacher. I wish they would fix their links on the website.

Anyway, time to start doing some research and try to distribute this pup. I'm tired of renting movies, watching movies, hearing about movies far less interesting and entertaining and with far less heart than this one.
