Wednesday, December 30, 1998 - Full Circle

I've come full circle with the film festivals and have been applying fairly dilligently for close to a year. I'll make a New Year's resolution to move on after this last batch. It's too often a process of spending money you don't have to apply for exposure you won't receive but receiving in its stead rejection that you certainly don't need, keeping an almost fanatical belief in the value of your art all the while. And why not? I've seen far too many successful films that are of dubious value at best. Well, if anything were to build character it would be an exercise such as this.

Anyway, the new script is flowing freely. It looks like it will run about 90 pages or so. This is but a rough estimate.
